That’s why WTF Bikexplorers has organized a nationwide series of multi-day bikepacking rides to bring a limited number of WTF riders together to tackle challenging routes in beautiful places and to get the conversation started for the summit.

California Coast Redwoods Ramble

JUNE 1-3

A three-day ramble through California’s coastal redwood forests, connecting four of the Bay Area’s most iconic State Parks. Starting in Big Basin, this 75-mile loop follows the skyline of the Sequoia Sempervirens along scenic byways, fire roads, and singletrack. This route includes ~8,800 ft of elevation gain, so bring your climbing legs and prepare for maximum chill. If you plan on riding to (or from) the ride, you’re in luck! This start/end point is just a day’s ride from San Francisco AND Santa Cruz with plenty of options to extend your adventure.

Bend, Oregon

JUNE 15-17

This three-day, 82 mile loop through Bend’s backyard will showcase the best of central Oregon: flowy singletrack, stunning vistas of volcanic peaks and beautiful Cascade lakes. This will be an intermediate level ride with 7,167 ft of climbing and descending, occasionally on rocky, technical terrain. We’ll start and end in Bend to enjoy the excellent food and drink culture of the high desert town.

Vermont Green Mountain Shortie Gravel Growler

JULY 20-23

A shortened version of the Green Mountain Gravel Growler Route that includes plenty of bucolic farm roads and microbrewery stops along the way. Set to the backdrop of New England high-Summer charm, this route will loop n swoop through forested singletrack, dirt, and gravel. Look forward to abundant maple syrup treats and a visit to the Ben and Jerrys Ice Creamery.

Whitefish, Montana

AUGUST 13-15

A 3-day backcountry tour along the Red Meadow Pass Loop following quiet dirt roads in and around Glacier National Park. Enjoy wildlife sightings, eat ripe berries off the trail, hop in a lake, and visit the infamous Polebridge Bakery on this ride but don’t forget your bear spray!
